Is it possible to stay in a hostel?

Why not?

When you say hostel, don't think of a messy, dirty and noisy place. For a long time, many people had thoughts such as "you can't stay in a hostel, it wouldn't be comfortable and safe" and they can't get rid of them. Do you think hostels prices; Do they keep it lower because they're messy, dirty, and noisy?

Actually; hostels are no different from hotels in terms of reliability and cleanliness. The reason they offer more economical prices is that they do not provide the full service you get in hotels. For example, it does not have room service or a restaurant to run a waiter. Thus, instead of employing many staff, they can manage the hostel even with one or two people. This naturally lowers costs.

In addition, there is a kitchen that you can use in many hostels and all kinds of equipment, even if you do not prepare food, you will get rid of 3-4 euros that you will pay for a tea or coffee by using the tea bags and a kettle you will take with you. Think about how many times you repeat this a day. And another good piece of information: In these kitchens, there are also takeaways left by hostel leavers, and they are placed on a shelf that you can pick up and use. You can easily create a menu for yourself with oatmeal, pasta, sauces, drinks, fruits and vegetables you can find here. I usually take dates, tea bags, fruit, instant soups and microwaveable quick meals with me. When I'm out, I just sit and drink a coffee and eat a cake to gather energy and relax when I'm tired.

Are you saying "Hotels are noisy"? In any hostel I've stayed in, I've never seen people yelling in the sleeping areas or even getting together and chatting. Only in the common areas, people socialize, but in the sleeping part, no one speaks or speaks in a whisper, even at 2 o'clock in the afternoon. It's a hostel tradition. From unwritten rules.

As for reliability, you sleep 8-10 people in the same room. How is it not safe? There are also lockers where you can put your suitcase.

By staying at the hostel, you also get the chance to stay in the middle of the city center. With the budget you have allocated for the hotel, you may not be able to stay in such a central location. You will either take a long walk to the center or come to the center by public transport. However, if you stay at the hostel, you will only go out of the hostel door to reach the center. Without getting tired and without wasting time.

If you say that you will wait in line for the shared bathroom; that never happens. Since there are at least two or three bathrooms and toilets on each floor, you usually don't see anyone around. Everything is immaculate. You don't have to wait in line for check-in and check-out. When you leave the hostel, you go straight out. If you say, "It's okay for me to have no room service, no one makes my bed in the morning, collect the linens when leaving the hostel and throw them in a basket, use the shared bathroom toilet", then go to the hostel instead of the hotel.

Take 3 trips a year instead of 1 trip. As someone who has discovered hostels, I have never stayed in a hotel after 2017. I am very happy because of that. I am making a few more trips abroad with the money I will pay to the hotels. I'd say at least give it a try.
